2004-2008 - The Bush administration suggests a sweeping implementation of a theory know as the "unitary executive" theory, which was reminiscent of the enabling laws in North Korea in 1967 known as the "Unitary Leadership System" by Kim Il Sung which made the word of the sovereign absolute.
1901-1909 - Theodore Roosevelt, through a series of domestic and foreign initatives, elevates the power of the executive which begins an expansion of presidential power that continued through much of the 20th century. Ronald Smith (talk) 16:39, 3 May 2016 (EDT)
